I am so excited that Christmas is a little over a week away! Although there always seems to be so much to finish up this time of year, it’s all totally worth it! Last weekend we got our first snow of the season, which made me even more excited for Christmas. We don’t usually get a lot of snow in Albuquerque, and when we do it typically melts before noon (as evidenced in these photos). Even though the snow had melted it was so windy and cold… my least favorite weather combination! I was still freezing even though I was layered up in my favorite leather jacket and a cozy infinity scarf. For some reason when I wear my faux leather jacket, I always feel the need to pair it with other “tough girl” looking pieces, like a pair of black ankle boots. This ruffle top from Aro & Company is the perfect juxtaposition, as it brings a feminine touch to the outfit. I love wearing mostly all black in an outfit, but really liked how the marled gray fabric from this top lightened things up.
