I used to strictly be a sterling silver jewelry girl. Then came the early 2000s and I fully submerged myself into the statement jewelry trends that we all knew and loved. As I have gotten older, I find myself strictly gravitating toward simple, dainty gold pieces. I’d like to think I have a fairly specific style when it comes to my jewelry. The days of statement pieces are generally gone, and now I am focused on easy pieces that can be worn daily.
My Favorite Gold Jewelry to Wear Daily
My favorite gold jewelry to wear daily always includes multiple earrings, delicate rings, and a necklace or two. Gold earrings, specifically huggies, are my daily go-to style. I have multiple ear piercings that I do not remove the jewelry from, so finding simple earrings to pair with them is ideal. A few of my favorite brands to shop for gold huggies and earrings are AUrate, Gorjana, Shop Cupcakes & Cashmere, Madewell, and even Amazon occasionally.
Another jewelry obsession of mine for daily wear are my permanent pieces from LINK x LOU and Loveweld. Both are local to Albuquerque, however they have pop ups and studios in various cities around the US. I was initially nervous to try out permanent jewelry, but it has been the best investment.
The jewelry can be pricey, but the cost is justifiable considering everything is 14k gold, does not tarnish, and is so lightweight you don’t even feel like you’re wearing anything. I currently have four bracelets, three rings, and a necklace. Permanent jewelry definitely helps me feel put together with minimal effort.
My favorite gold jewelry to wear daily does not change much. I have learned that finding good quality pieces that can be mixed and matched is key. Not having to think too much about accessorizing has been a game changer for me. A simple combination of a ring, a pair of earrings, and necklace is all you need. It helps an outfit feel elevated, no matter how dressed up or casual your look is. I love the idea of mixing metals, however sticking to one shade is my personal preference.
