If you have ever been to or lived in New Mexico, you know that this time of year is always the most exciting because it’s CHILE TIME! In New Mexico you will always be asked “red or green?” with your meal, and is one of the biggest things I missed when I lived in the Bay Area. Nothing compares to New Mexico in the fall because we also have the Balloon Fiesta (and it’s my birthday!), but more on that later. Our weather has still been in the 90’s which, as I have mentioned previously, makes going into full fledged fall mode a bit difficult for me. I wore this outfit when we went to pick up our freshly roasted green chile for the year at my favorite farm, Wagner’s. If you have not yet heard of Vanity, you are missing out! Vanity is a one-stop-shop for all of your fall fashion needs, including a line of denim with inseams ranging from 29″ to 37″, and sizes XS – 3X in many of their tops, dresses, and pants. Vanity also carries a full range of accessories that are perfect for the dropping temperatures, including scarves, boots, and jewelry. I absolutely love how light and airy this cardigan is, and how darling is the chevron pattern? Chevron is clearly my pattern this week, if you saw Monday’s post. I don’t think I will ever tire of it!
