It’s pretty unbelievable that Christmas is only three days away! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and here’s to a short work week and lots of family time and fun in the week to come. I had one of the best weekends ever, and last Friday was definitely one of the most exciting days of my life. We were finally able to find out the sex of our baby, and were able to share the news with our families later in the evening. Since it’s almost Christmas, which is my absolute FAVORITE time of year, and I am obsessed with the classic Rudolph movie, my husband had a great idea to incorporate the two into our gender reveal. We didn’t want to do anything big, and it worked out being an intimate gathering of our parents, my sister, and her fiance. My husband had the cutest idea, and I am so glad it worked out perfectly. After our doctor appointment on Friday we went to Build-A-Bear and chose to get Rudolph if we were having a boy and Clarice if we were having a girl. Of course we had to wrap up the box and unwrap it before revealing it to our families. We found out the sex of the baby at our appointment because I just couldn’t wait any longer!
IT’S A GIRL!!!! I had totally convinced myself we were having a boy at this point even though I had always hoped to have a girl first. Needless to say it was a very emotional (in a good way!) weekend. I feel like everything is so much more real now too knowing that we are going to have a daughter, and I truly could not be more excited!

What a wonderful idea to reveal it and I bet it was the perfect Christmas gift for all of your family members as well to find out whether it was a boy or a girl. My girl will be two next month and from a baby girl's mother to a baby girls' mother-to-be I am telling you GIRLS ARE THE BEST. They are sweet, loving, funny, sassy and have such adorable personalities to boost. Plus, there are a ton of cute clothes out there.
I am glad you decided to do the special Holiday Baby Bump post also and cannot wait for it to go live tomorrow. Make sure you post as well.
Happy Holidays Lindsay!
