Braving The Cold With Another Blanket Scarf

This past weekend my husband and I went out with my sister and future brother-in-law to take engagement photos for them. Although it was freezing out (around 30 degrees plus lots of wind… wouldn’t be NM without the wind), we wound up having a lot of fun and finding a lot of cool spots to take pictures around the downtown area. Of course I had to stop to take blog pictures because well, you know, it just made sense at the time. Since becoming pregnant, I tend to wear whatever is most comfortable, even more so now that I did before. I also need to be a lot more practical about spending this year, and I was really inspired by Abigal Strock (@mrsstrock) on Instagram to try out the #shopyourcloset2015 challenge. This includes no shopping and no repeat outfits for 30 days! I have seen similar challenges before but have never really been truly inspired to try it out. 2015 is my year though, for many reasons, and I am really up to the challenge! Have you ever tried a “shop your closet” challenge before? I would love to hear your experience with it and any tips you may have!
