So here we are… first post-partum outfit post. I’m not going to lie, I was super intimated to get back into taking outfit posts for all of the world to see only 3 weeks after having a baby. Despite how good I already feel (it’s amazing what our bodies can do!), the outside doesn’t always match the inside. I also never imagined how difficult it would be to get dressed every day. I had so much fun getting dressed while I was pregnant, and it’s amazing how awkward things tend to fit post-baby. I am so thankful for practical and beautiful pieces like this emerald knot maxi dress. I was able to wear it while I was pregnant and it is so perfect now as a nursing dress. It can be dressed down for day or dressed up for a night out… not that I know what that looks like or will be doing that any time soon! Since the dress is such a stand out piece on it’s own, I love pairing it with simple accessories, such as this adorable pineapple necklace from Swell Caroline. Pineapples are totally in right now, and I love to incorporate the trend without being over the top. I am finding my ability to wear jewelry limited these days with a baby, so it’s nice to dress things up a bit from time to time #momlife.
