Floral & Stripes with Oakleigh Rose

Last weekend my husband and I ventured out for the first time since Harper was born as a family of 4 (yes, I included our dog in this). Usually we take turns running errands so that one of us will go out and the other stays home with the baby. I feel like a lot of people think I am weird, but Harper has only been out a handful of times since she was born, as in I can probably count on one hand the number of places she has been. On Saturday we decided to change things up a bit and were brave enough to head over to one of our favorite places to eat. Surprisingly, it worked out perfectly! We had hoped to go to breakfast/brunch, however we now run on Harper time, so when she wound up nursing and sleeping the majority of the morning it was hard to get out of the house. In the early afternoon we were finally able to make it out and I’m so glad we did! I wore this super comfy maxi dress from Oakleigh Rose Boutique paired with one of my favorite floral scarves since it was overcast and really not that hot out. My outfit choices are always strategic when going anywhere with Harper in tow, and I love that this maxi dress covers all the bases (i.e. comfortable, easy to accessorize, and nursing friendly). In addition to the striped dress I am wearing, some of my favorites include the Pop of Color maxi and the Aztec maxi for my fellow curvy girls.
