I know I always say this, but it’s really hard to believe that it’s already Valentine’s Day this weekend! My husband and I have started a tradition of staying home on Valentine’s Day and cooking a special dinner together that usually involves a few steaks and some type of seafood – this year we are going to make lobster tails! This will also be Harper’s first Valentine’s Day, and of course I’ve already been planning out her little outfits for the weekend! Today I am excited to be teaming up with a fellow New Mexico blogger, the beautiful Bekah from Redeem Cliche. The New Mexico blogging scene is pretty small at this point, so it’s always nice to connect with another local blogger. Since my style is generally more laid back and casual, I decided to share an outfit that can be worn for a nice day date on Valentine’s Day. I recently picked up this sweater on a super sale from JCrew Factory and knew it would add the perfect feminine touch for Valentine’s Day. I also opted for flats for a daytime look, and also because #momlife! I just love Bekah’s take on a more evening appropriate outfit. How cute is her red lace midi skirt? Be sure to head over to Bekah’s blog to get the full outfit details for her perfectly styled nighttime look.
