Any other tall ladies out there who struggle with the length of dresses? I feel like it’s so difficult to find dresses that are long enough for me, especially now since having a baby! I recently received this adorable tassel dress from SheIn and knew immediately that it would be best worn as a tunic for me. Whether you wear it as a tunic or a dress, you really can’t go wrong especially since it is less than $10! I have been loving the tassel trend, but have struggled to find a way to incorporate it into my wardrobe until now. Also, can we talk about my accessories for a minute here? I finally got my Jord watch sized and now I’m not sure if I will be taking it off any time soon. If you are a usual reader of the blog, you will know that I also love Rocksbox, and my most recent box certainly did not let me down. I feel very New Mexican wearing so much turquoise! I am really tempted to use my Shine Spend on this gorgeous Kendra Scott bracelet this month. July is also the last month you can use the code LINDSAYXOXO1 to get your first month of unlimited boxes for free, so don’t sleep on the gouda (name that show…)

You look great! I often wear dresses as tunics, so many dresses are just too short;) Love the tassels!

Standing at 5'9" I know just how you feel! My issue is more with pants for work, trying not to spend a fortune on slacks and still be somewhat stylish is a job all its own! BTW, I love the accessories!

I am 5'7 which I always thought was average height and shopping for dresses is an endless struggle. However I love what you did by wearing jeans. I love the outfit. I shall remember this look when I go shopping that way I don't automatically say no just because it's a little short.

Tassels and pom poms are seriously the trend of the summer! Love this look and how you made the dress work for you as a tunic. Plus I'm obsessed with your glasses!

Ugh I remember those days too! Thankfully I don't have to wear dress pants anymore, but I remember finding the best ones that were long enough (I'm 5'10") at Gap or Express. It's been a long time since I've bought any so I'm not sure if that still stands.
Lindsay Rutland says
Thanks Jazmine! That is such a great point… I feel like I turn down a lot of things because of the length but it helps to improvise!
