Happy Friday! This week has been an interesting one for me. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (@lindsayrutland), you may know that on Wednesday my husband and I started our very first Whole30 journey. The past few days haven’t been as difficult as I thought they would be, but I feel like it’s a total honeymoon period. I also haven’t been faced with too many temptations yet, so we will see how this progresses! It’s kind of ironic that I’m wearing a tee that says “Different is Beautiful” today because it seems like every blogger in the world has done Whole30 before. Speaking of my shirt, how awesome is this graphic tee from Sevenly? A little known fact (in the blogging world) about me is that my day job is actually in the social work field. Before having Harper, I worked with kids and families as a licensed mental health therapist. I currently work in a different capacity with adults with various disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. As soon as I found out that a portion of each sale of this tee would be donated toward the Global Autism Project, I knew I had to have it. I usually don’t wear a ton of graphic tees, but there’s no way I could pass up one that supports a good cause!
P.S. Today the beautiful Angela of Pretty in Her Pearls will be joining Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I today to co-host The Weekly Style Edit link up. Be sure to come by and link up your favorite look of the week with us below!
