End of Summer Maxi Dress - Middle of Somewhere

As much as it saddens me to say, the end of summer is near. I can’t even believe that today is the first day of September! People always say that when you have children time seems to go by even faster than it did before, and trust me, it totally does! I am about as #basic as they come, and love anything to do with fall. It is a little much when stores already have Halloween decorations out in the middle of August, and you know the PSL will be coming out any day now. It usually feels more like summer in Albuquerque through September than it does fall, so I’m always looking for pieces to wear during the transition time.

I received this gorgeous dress a few weeks ago and finally had the chance to wear it. Let’s just say I’m in love! You guys know I can’t pass up a good maxi dress, and I love how lightweight and flowy this one is. The straps can also be worn up or down, making it the perfect dress to wear during the day or at night. As soon as I saw it, I actually thought it would make the perfect dress to wear for the launch party of Live Plentiful in San Diego at the end of the month. I figure the weather will be ideal to wear this as an end of summer maxi dress that I can dress up for the event. Speaking of the party, I just cannot wait to be a part of it and finally get to meet one of my blogging besties!
