Yesterday was my birthday, and I have to say it was one of my favorites yet. I spent the day with my family, and it was super low key in the very best way. We ate lots of delicious food, and even spent some time at the pumpkin patch. I was talking to someone at work the other day about getting older. She had mentioned that she didn’t look forward to birthday’s anymore, after I had said that I have always loved mine. For some people, getting older is a negative thing. I truly feel like I’m in such a good place in my life right now that getting older doesn’t worry me.
I always like to look back at older pictures when my birthday rolls around. We all know that Facebook memories help with that! My style has definitely simplified 0ver the years, but something things haven’t changed. Pretty sure I’ve been wearing some version of this twill field jacket for years, and I’m totally ok with that.
Speaking of anorak/field/military jackets, what do you call yours? Whatever the name, that’s what Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I are wearing for The Weekly Style Edit this week.
