Here we are on another Monday. It’s so cliche to say, but how does the week go by so slow and then the weekend is over before we know it? I know I should live more in the moment, but I am always living for the weekend. I recently saw someone post a quote on Instagram that said, “I haven’t been this excited for Friday since last Friday” and that is SO true! I actually wore this outfit a few weekends ago and love that it incorporates some of my fall staples that I plan to mix and match all season. Light Layers for Fall

It’s finally beginning to feel like fall around here and I love it! Last weekend we stopped by one of my favorite places, Wagner’s Farm, to pick up some freshly roasted green chile. If you have never been to New Mexico, the fall is really the best time to visit! Right now not only is there green chile being roasted all around, the International Balloon Fiesta is going on and the leaves are just beginning to change. Next week it is supposed to be in the high 70’s/low 80’s again, so I am trying to enjoy the cool air while I can. This loose trench coat from Shein is the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe, and so easy to throw on during the cool mornings and evenings. It really is the perfect layering piece and is less than $27 right now! I know I will get a lot of use out of it in the next few months and again in the springtime as it starts to warm up.

End of Summer Floral Print

I hope you had a great first weekend of fall! My husband and I took Harper on our first little family trip to Trader Joes and we went on a pumpkin extravaganza! I haven’t been to TJ’s since before I had the baby (over 4 months), which is a long time for me considering I used to go on a bi-monthly basis. Unfortunately the closest Trader Joes to our house is pretty far away, and with a baby it felt like quite the trek, but it was definitely worth it! If you aren’t TJ’s obsessed like I am I will just leave you with 3 words that may change your mind: PUMPKIN COOKIE BUTTER. Yeah, it’s ridiculous. The weather here has still been pretty warm here lately, so I’m finding myself having to incorporate some fall pieces, like these teal jeans, with some of my favorite summer pieces like this floral print tank (which is perfect for you nursing mamas!) and embellished sandals that are on a super sale right now (I’m talking under $60 thanks to Amazon). This outfit is one that’s on repeat for me and I have been wearing it at least once a week. I can see myself continuing to wear it as the temperature cools down with a blazer and a cute pair of booties.

The Best Fall Handbags

Can you believe it’s already fall? I feel like I was just preparing for summer (and having a baby!) and now it’s almost October. October is always one of my favorite months because it is my birthday month! As the seasons change, I am always looking for new accessories to introduce into my wardrobe.
