Middle of Somewhere

At the end of April, I received an invitation to be a part of the Blossom Lounge X BKR water challenge, in which I was provided a beautiful new BKR bottle and was asked to drink at least 5 bottles of water per day throughout the entire month of May. Initially I did not think this challenge would be too difficult for me, since I generally considered myself to be someone who is pretty good about staying hydrated. At first, this did prove to be a bit more difficult than I expected, especially on days when I was busier than normal at work or on the weekends when I was out without my BKR bottle in tow. Once I got into the routine of making sure I had my bottle with me wherever I went, it slowly became easier to make sure I finished all 5 bottles each day. I have definitely noticed the benefits of consuming the proper amount of water each day. I have felt a big improvement in my energy level, especially when comparing days that I drank all 5 bottles compared to days when I did not. Living in New Mexico, my skin gets dry very easily and now that I am consistently drinking the proper amount of water I find that I do not struggle with this as frequently. I have also experienced a significant decrease in the number of headaches I get by the end of the workday, and am certain that being more hydrated has made this possible. I am looking forward to continuing to challenge myself to stay hydrated with my BKR bottle, especially in the warmer months that are ahead. Thanks Blossom for the challenge!
