Oversized Sweater + Giveaway to The Mint Julep Boutique

Another Monday… this weekend was so busy for me in preparation for Christmas, but we did get a lot done. We went and picked out our Christmas tree, which is always one of my favorite things to do this time of year. We get a fresh tree every year, and nothing compares! I am pretty excited for this week because on Friday we will get to find out the sex of our baby! I haven’t figured out a cute way to announce on here yet, but I’m sure I will come up with something. Today I am sharing an outfit with one of the most cozy oversized sweaters from The Mint Julep Boutique. The Mint Julep is pretty much a one stop shop! For some reason I can never find a sweater that has a true oversized look on me until I tried this one. I sized up to accommodate my growing belly, and am so glad I did because I love the loose fit, especially when paired with leggings. I feel very Pinterest-y in this outfit. Thankfully I can still fit into my favorite faux leather leggings… not sure how much longer that will happen! Everyday Basics with Pink Blush Maternity

What you’re looking at is pretty much my daily uniform for the fall/winter- dark denim, ankle boots, and a comfy top! I figured it would be best to stick to the basics over the weekend as I adjusted to my new shorter do! Ready for Winter in Fair Isle

Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing an outfit featuring my first maternity jeans (!!!) I can totally see why women love these and never want to go back to regular jeans… they are so comfortable! Although I’m sure after the baby I will regret saying that and will probably be dying to fit back into my old jeans. For all you soon-to-be-mom’s out there, you have to check out Pink Blush Maternity if you have not already. They have such a cute selection of maternity clothes at really affordable prices. I know that one of my goals is to not spend a lot of money on maternity pieces since I will get really limited wear out of them. I do think that investing in a good pair of maternity jeans is a must though! It does take a bit of getting used to the waist band, as it sits really low, so having longer tops and sweaters are also essential. I am in love with this fair isle print sweater from Sugarhill Boutique! Sugarhill Boutique is based in the UK, therefore the sizing is quite a bit different, but they do offer a helpful conversion guide. I had picked out this sweater when I was not very far along in my pregnancy, and was so happy that it fit me perfectly when I finally received it. It has quite a bit of stretch to it, so I can see myself wearing this sweater for months to come!
