Two Ways to Wear Mustard Yellow with Bella Ella Boutique
A huge thank you to Bella Ella Boutique for sponsoring today’s post. All opinions are my own.
One of the coolest parts of blogging is being introduced to new online boutiques! Many of them actually become some of my favorite places to shop, and I already know that will be the case for Bella Ella Boutique. As a new-to-me boutique, I was immediately impressed with their amazing selection of tops, pants, dresses, jackets, etc! I can honestly say I would wear every single piece in their shop, and that is not something I usually find when shopping online.
Before I jump into sharing two ways to wear mustard yellow, I wanted to give you all an exclusive coupon code that you can use on any purchase with Bella Ella Boutique, including sale items! You can use the code LINDSAY10 at check out to enjoy 10% off your purchase. It can, of course, be used on any of the pieces I am sharing today as well! So without further ado, let’s get to styling my favorite color – yellow!
Option 1: Stay warm with a cozy mustard yellow sweater & distressed jeans
You can’t go wrong with a chunky sweater and a great pair of jeans. This is actually an outfit you can find me in most days of the week. Thanks to a fairly laid back job when it comes to my wardrobe, I love finding cozy sweaters that are versatile and can be paired with different bottoms. This sweater would also look great with a pair of black jeans or pants to dress it up a bit. If you are into wear skirts, it would also look super cute with a printed midi à la Blair Eadie.
Option 2: Keep it low key with a pair of joggers and a denim jacket
Who doesn’t love a good pair of joggers? I know I do! We all wear them around the house, but why not dress them up just a bit to make them appropriate for running around? The easiest way to elevate a pair of joggers is to pair them with a semi-structured jacket, like this denim one. A great tie front top is a closet staple for me, since it, like a cozy sweater, can be styled so many different ways. This exact one I am wearing comes in a few other colors, and is nursing friendly as the buttons are functional!
Do you like to incorporate mustard yellow into your wardrobe? I’d love to hear how you style it in the comments! I have linked all of the pieces I am wearing today below, and don’t forget you can use the code LINDSAY10 for 10% off anything you purchase at Bella Ella Boutique.

Ultimate Mom Uniform: The Weekly Style Edit
When it comes to my style since having a baby, my ultimate mom uniform is all about comfort! You all know I practically live in denim, and a chambray top is just another extension of that obsession. I really don’t think you can go wrong with a pair of great fitting jeans for any outfit.
I’ve had this chambray shirt since last year, and I’m so glad they brought it back again! I truly think this is the perfect top, no matter what size you are. It is available in petite, regular, and tall sizes, and ranges from a XS to a XXL. If you are a nursing mama, you really need this top in your life. The material is so soft! I actually went up a size for a more oversized fit, which also helps accommodate a larger bust.
It’s clearly all about chambray this week for The Weekly Style Edit link up. I love how Megan from The Fashionista Momma styled hers with a dress! Both options make great options for the ultimate mom uniform. We would love for you to link up with us below and share your favorite outfit post from the week!

Tie Front Top: The Weekly Style Edit
Are you sick of the tie front top trend yet? I know that these tops have been all over for a few months now, and I’m not embarrassed to admit that I own more than one. This is actually the only short sleeve version I have, and I think I may love it even more than the long sleeve ones! I also have a thing for pairing black and cognac together. Black is absolutely one of my favorite colors to wear, and cognac always seems to brighten it up a bit.
Speaking of cognac, you see this mini Fawn Design? I bought it during the sale they had a few months ago to give to Harper for her birthday, because twinning of course. I started using this bag as a crossbody last weekend and the first thing she says to me, “isn’t that my bag?” Yes, yes it is, however she actually hasn’t really used it yet. I had to remind her that we share, and that problems was solved real quick. You know I absolutely love my original Fawn, but the mini is perfect to throw the essentials in.
Just a friendly reminder that today is link up day! Be sure to join Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I in the link up below. Also, we would love for you to come back every Thursday to check out the latest trend we are styling. Next week will be eyelet!

The Weekly Style Edit: Black Jumpsuit
Happy Thursday friends! Let’s just start by saying that a black jumpsuit is something that every woman should have in her closet. You guys know I love any piece of clothing that is black, but there is something extra special about a jumpsuit. I’m starting to think that a jumpsuit might be one of the most versatile pieces that I have in my closet. I shared this one last year with my favorite pair of flatform sandals (that are back in stock this year!), and I love it as much now as I did then.
For the last edition of The Weekly Style Edit, Megan from the Fashionista Momma and I shared how we styled stripes. Today we are clearly taking on the jumpsuit trend, since it is huge for spring. I actually don’t own too many other jumpsuits, but every time I put one on I feel like I need to pick up a few more. This one that I am wearing today might as well be a pair of pajamas because it is SO comfortable. If you haven’t tried out this trend, you are definitely missing out. I think a jumpsuit can be so flattering, no matter how short, tall, curvy, petite, etc. you are!
Be sure to head to the bottom of the post to link up with Megan and I, and share your favorite outfit post with us!

The Weekly Style Edit Link Up: Hunter Boots
Happy Thursday! The weekend is right around the corner, and it’ll be a fun one since it’s also St. Patrick’s day. St Patrick’s day definitely looks a little different these days than it used to. Oh the stories I could tell haha! We have a few little family activities planned that I’m looking forward to, including planning out a garden that we want to get started! Today’s outfit is definitely appropriate for that, or just a rainy day like we had a few days ago. I’ve shared my Hunter boots on here before in the fall, and still love them as much as ever even though it’s warming up outside. I was told I gave off farmer vibes in this outfit, but I really love the look of overalls and Hunter boots!
Last week Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I brought back The Weekly Style Edit link up. We are back today sharing how we each styled a pair of rain boots. We would love for you to join us! Add a recent outfit post (or two!) to the link up below, especially if you have a post that showcases how you style rain boots. Check out some of the other bloggers who have shared their posts and go show them some love!
