When it comes to wearing sunscreen or products with SPF on a daily basis, I have often fallen short. Typical sunscreen products tend to feel greasy and heavy. While I am pretty good about using sunscreen on my body, I have struggled to find one that I don’t mind putting on my face. You all probably know by now that I am really prone to break outs, so the thought of layering sunscreen with moisturizer and foundation can be a bit daunting.
I recently started using the Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 and am really enjoying the lightweight formula. I actually used to use this moisturizer back in high school and am not really sure why I stopped. It’s non-comedogenic and oil-free, so I have not had to worry about breaking out! The formula is not greasy, and blends in easily, making layering makeup on top a breeze. I would consider my skin to be pretty temperamental, so the sensitive formula is perfect for me. This moisturizer contains SPF 15 and provides both UVA and UVA protection.
In addition to adding the Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer into your daily routine, here are a few more easy tips to protect your skin for summer:
- Always wear sunglasses while you’re outside! I prefer an oversized pair that not only protects my eyes, but also the skin around them.
- Find a cute hat that is versatile and can be worn with any outfit. I personally love the look of a panama hat
- To help give your skin that sun kissed glow, without exposing it to too much sun, find a good bronzer. I love to add a little extra all around my face where the sun would naturally hit in the spring and summer months.

As soon as the temperatures start to rise, I always look forward to wearing maxi dresses again. How darling is this open shoulder maxi dress (with ruffles!)? I actually brought this dress with me to Nashville a few weeks ago. Sadly, I never had a chance to wear it while we were there. I usually try to stay away from pieces that have extra fabric and volume on top because well, I really don’t need any extra volume on top. This dress was too cute to pass up, and I’m glad I gave it a shot!

I’ve been wanting to share some of my picks for the best mascaras for every budget for awhile now, and finally made myself do it. A

This is probably just me coming off of the high of seeing the new movie I Feel Pretty, but there is something about this outfit that totally gives me confidence. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I don’t often think, or especially say that out loud. This brings me to my next thought – that is not ok! I’ve never been the pillar of confidence, which probably sounds strange coming from someone who shares photos of myself to the world online. Bloggers definitely present like we have it all together, but truth is, we don’t.

As I am typing this, I am realizing that I need to wake up in less than 5 hours to catch my flight to Nashville. Leave it to me to wait until the last minute to complete everything! Regardless, I am so excited for my trip and to finally get a chance to check out a city I’ve never been to before. I’m glad to see that the weather will be nice, and plan to take a ton of pictures while I’m there, so be on the lookout for those!

Glowing skin for spring always a goal of mine. Springtime for me usually means ditching my heavy layers and showing a little more skin in my favorite tank tops and dresses. Since spring is right around the corner, I’ve started to re-evaluate what I’m putting into and onto my body. The dry climate I live in always takes a toll on my skin, so I love to try to find body and facial care products that are both exfoliating and hydrating. I recently had the chance to try

I definitely plan to continue to incorporate
