Floral Jumpsuit: The Weekly Style Edit
I think it’s safe to say that it feels like spring has officially sprung here! Although yesterday was super windy and chilly… but we are going to power through. Last weekend, however, was gorgeous! All of the trees and flowers are starting to bloom, it was in the 70s, and I was sad to see it end. It did give me a chance to give this orange floral jumpsuit a try. I had a fun project to work on with JCPenney, and wound up turning it into a full outfit post because I love the jumpsuit so much.
I don’t think I’ve ever owned anything orange in my life. Ok, maybe when I was a child in the 80s, but definitely nothing in my adult life. I was worried it would be too bold, but I really wound up falling in love. I went up a size to fit my growing belly, and while it’s a little big right now, it’ll be perfect to grow into. Pretty sure I’ll be wearing this all spring and summer long thanks to the ruched elastic waistband!
Enough gushing about this jumpsuit, now it’s time for The Weekly Style Edit.Come join Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I below and share your favorite outfit from the week!

February and March Beauty Hits & Misses
Well hello there! Things have been a bit slow around here, but I am excited because I have a lot of fun posts coming your way in the next few weeks. I am so excited to bring back my beauty hits and misses today! I didn’t post one in February because pregnancy exhaustion is so real guys! I honestly did not have the energy, so I figured I’d combine the last 2 months. Today I am bringing you some products I tried in both February and March, and most of them were hits!
February and March Beauty Hits:
The first product I am excited to finally have jumped on the bandwagon for is the Chi Paint Party Flat Iron (c/o). I have never owned one because #straighthairproblems, but had always wanted to try one to curl my hair. I’m so glad I finally did! It helps create the most beautiful waves that stayed in tact all day long. This exact iron is currently on sale for under $80, which is such a great deal if you’re looking for a new straighter!
I have been trying out two new nighttime moisturizers, and have fallen in love with both. First is the E.l.f. Hello Hydration cream (c/o), which happens to be only $12. At this price this moisturizer is an absolute must have! It feels so silky, and is absorbed into the skin quickly. I have also been loving the DermaE Advanced Peptides & Collagen Moisturizer (c/o). This one has stronger scent to it, but is equally as moisturizing and luxurious feeling.
If you’re looking for a good body moisturizer, the Purlisse Coconut Oil + Orange Blossom Body Butter (c/o) smells and feels like a dream. If you like the scent of creamsicles, you’ll love this! I have been using it every day, and have even been using it as a belly moisturizer for the bump. The last hit is the Glo Skin Beauty Power C Serum (c/o). I have been using this every morning after I get out of the shower. This product is definitely a splurge, but has made my skin feel so much brighter. I have also noticed some of my dark spots/acne scars are lighter, which makes it a huge hit in my book!
February and March Beauty Misses
As always, I’m super sad that a few products made it to my misses list. I really wanted to love both of these! I actually purchased the Pravana The Perfect Blonde Masque at the recommendation of my hair stylist. It was something I really wanted to love, but have just not been that impressed. My hair feels only slightly less brassy after using it, but not as much as I had hoped for. Another miss was the Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser (c/o). It smells great, however for some reason my face doesn’t feel super clean after using it. I don’t feel like it’s great at removing makeup, which is what I look for in a cleanser (especially if I’m using it at night!)

Navy Eyelet Blouse: The Weekly Style Edit
Happy Thursday everyone! Hope this week is treating you well. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen last week that I made a special announcement. That’s right – I’m pregnant! It has been hard to keep, mainly because I am showing so much sooner than I did with Harper. I will be 13 weeks this weekend, which is crazy to already be starting the second trimester! Stay tuned for lots more bump friendly fashion.
I have been talking about how I am over regular jeans now for the last week, but I managed to squeeze into this pair one last time hah! I ordered this navy eyelet blouse from VICI recently, and might be getting a second color in it. It is my absolute favorite! I sized up to a large, and it’s super roomy. Until the bump is bigger, I felt like it needed a little tuck. These jeans, however, are on their way out. I have already started wearing some maternity jeans, and have picked up a few new pairs that I’m excited to share. You know I can’t live without my jeans, and I can’t wait to start sharing some more #bumpstyle with you!

Graphic Tee and Boyfriend Jeans: The Weekly Style Edit
Hi everyone! Sorry for being MIA last week – Megan and I decided to take a little spring break from the link up. Mini breaks are always nice to take, especially when they’re unplanned! But today we are back for The Weekly Style Edit. I have shared this graphic tee on Instagram a few times, so I figured it was time to finally share it on the blog. You guys probably know my love for Queer Eye/JVN, so of course I had to get this tee! The fact that it’s only $16.99 made me want it even more! Are you as obsessed with Queer Eye as I am? It’s such a feel good show!
I don’t typically wear a lot of graphic tees, but when I do I like to keep the rest of my outfit pretty simple. You really can never go wrong with a great pair of distressed jeans, and you know this Madewell pair is my favorite. A graphic tee and boyfriend jeans are such a classic pairing. I thought it would be fun to add a pair of leopard pumps to dress the look up a bit. I also love wearing the same outfit with a pair of Vans or slides for warmer weather. What’s your favorite way to style a graphic tee?

Winter to Spring Layers: The Weekly Style Edit
We have had the weirdest weather week here! We had a few days of rain, which NEVER happens. But of course we had a rainy day when it was time to take this week’s outfit photos. Thankfully we hit a little window of no rain to get the job done, but that’s always my luck! I clearly was not dressed for the rain this week either, but temperature wise, this outfit includes the perfect winter to spring layers.
You guys already know my love for both Old Navy and Evy’s Tree, and today’s outfit is the perfect combo of both brands. Not that I needed another cardigan in my closet, but I just couldn’t pass this one up from Evy’s Tree. It definitely does not disappoint! It’s a great layering piece, and easy to throw on when it doesn’t quite feel like spring out.
Today is The Weekly Style Edit link up day, so be sure to join Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I below. We are switching things up a bit, and won’t be styling the same trends each week moving forward. Instead, we will just be sharing whichever outfit we want to share for the week! We hope you do the same and add an outfit post or two to the link up below.
