TGIF everyone! Can you believe it’s already May? We are almost half way through this year, and I’m not sure I’m ready for it. May is always one of my favorite months, between Harper’s birthday, my husband’s birthday, and Mother’s Day, there is always a lot to celebrate. Before we fully move into May, I wanted to share a few of the products I have been using during April for this month’s beauty hits and misses.
April Beauty Hits
Pacifica Coconut Micellar Cleansing Tonic is freaking AMAZING! I don’t know any other way to express my love for this product. I bought it on a whim at Target one day, and fell in love with first use. It instantly removes my eye makeup without any irritation or excessive rubbing. Another clean beauty product that I have really been enjoying is the Burt’s Bees All Aglow Lip & Cheek Stick. I saw someone share it on Instagram, and thought I’d give it a try since I love Burt’s products.
If you’re looking for a new drugstore mascara, I’ve got you covered! The new Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara (c/o) is my absolute new favorite affordable mascara! It makes my lashes look so long and full, without leaving behind any clumps. I always use a primer with my mascara, but honestly don’t even need to with this one if I’m in a rush.
The last hit for me this month was the n:p beautiful Flat Iron (c/o). I’ve really been into flatiron waves lately, and I really enjoy the natural look of the waves I can create with this iron. I have had a few requests for a hair tutorial lately, and am planning to share on my IG stories soon using this wand. If you’re looking for a more affordable flat iron option, I shared one in last month’s roundup that I am also loving!
April Beauty Misses
There was only one miss for me this month, and it is the e.l.f. Makeup Mist. While it’s super affordable, I’m not convinced it actually helps my makeup last. I am yet to find an affordable setting spray that I think truly does the job. So far, I prefer the Urban Decay All-Nighter spray. I am still on the hunt for a more affordable option though.
