If you’ve been following me for awhile now, you may remember a few different outfits featuring faux leather leggings. I actually don’t wear them all that much because I generally prefer to wear jeans. Every once and awhile they’re fun to pull out, especially when you find the perfect tunic to wear with them! Today for The Weekly Style Edit, Megan and I are sharing two ways to rock your favorite pair of leather leggings!
After putting this outfit together I realized it would make the perfect Valentine’s Day look! I have a few otherĀ Valentine’s Day outfit ideas here from last year if you’re looking for inspiration. This outfit would even be appropriate to wear to work (which I actually did, minus the heels!). That is one of my favorite things about faux leather leggings. They can be worn in place of a regular black pair, can be dressed down with tennis shoes, or dressed up with heels or a great pair of boots. Have you tried faux leather leggings yet?

You can’t go wrong with a chunky sweater and a great pair of jeans. This is actually an outfit you can find me in most days of the week. Thanks to a fairly laid back job when it comes to my wardrobe, I love finding cozy sweaters that are versatile and can be paired with different bottoms. This sweater would also look great with a pair of black jeans or pants to dress it up a bit. If you are into wear skirts, it would also look super cute with a printed midi Ć la Blair Eadie.

Who doesn’t love a good pair of joggers? I know I do! We all wear them around the house, but why not dress them up just a bit to make them appropriate for running around? The easiest way to elevate a pair of joggers is to pair them with a semi-structured jacket, like this denim one. A great tie front top is a closet staple for me, since it, like a cozy sweater, can be styled so many different ways. This exact one I am wearing comes in a few other colors, and is nursing friendly as the buttons are functional!

Do you like to incorporate mustard yellow into your wardrobe? I’d love to hear how you style it in the comments! I have linked all of the pieces I am wearing today below, and don’t forget you can use theĀ code LINDSAY10 for 10% offĀ anything you purchase at Bella Ella Boutique.
If you follow me on Instagram (@lindsayrutland) and watch my stories, you probably saw the little behind the scenes of these photos. My husband and I usually meet up during the week to take all of my outfit photos because let’s be real – taking pictures when your 3 year old is around isn’t quite as simple. We have our little routine down and it usually works our perfectly. Until it’s way colder than expected and snow flurries start to come down the minute you go outside. So since that happened, please excuse my hair today haha!

Happy Thursday friends! It’s been a busy week around here, so I’m thankful that the weekend is almost here! Today for

Here we are, two weeks into 2019 and it’s already flying! 2018 wound up being a really amazing year for me for so many different reasons. It was probably the biggest blog year I have had so far, which makes me all the more excited to see what the new year has in store. Today for

Olay! You guys, I can’t even. I know I have talked about this before on IG, but being able to work with Olay again in 2018-2019 is a dream. A few of my favorite posts/products I’ve shared are:
