The navy lace dress I am wearing in today’s wedding guest outfit post might look familiar to you. I actually wore it for a post from last year that I did with David’s Bridal. In coming up with the trend for today’s link up, Megan and I thought that a wedding guest look would be perfect since we are right in the middle of wedding season. I actually have a wedding to attend in about a month, and I’m pretty sure this is exactly what I’ll be wearing to it. You guys know I’m all about re-mixing pieces in my closet, and what better dress to re-style than this navy lace one!
For a summer or fall wedding, a lace dress is always a classic option. This is especially the case when paired with a pair of nude heels. I typically stray away from heels with an ankle strap because it’s not really an area I like to draw attention to, but this pair is surprisingly perfect. They are under $30 and come in 3 other colors. I have linked them at the end of the post, along with 3 other navy lace dress options since the one I am wearing today is an older piece.
Today is link up day, so be sure to join Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I below!

When Megan and I decided that this week’s trend for

4th of July is only about two weeks away, which means it’s time for me to start figuring out what I want to wear. We usually don’t do anything too fancy for the 4th, but we always make sure to spend time with family. That means I always need to reach for something that is comfortable to sit around in and accommodate all the yummy food I will be consuming. Last year I shared

If you follow my Instagram stories, you are probably super sick of these high rise boyfriend jeans. I may or may not have worn them for 3 days straight last week, and I’m back at it again this week. Doesn’t the saying go you can’t have too much of a good thing? Something like that at least. These jeans were on my want list for months! I tried them on when I was finally able to stop into a Madewell store in Nashville, but they did not carry tall sizes so sadly they didn’t work for me. I’m usually not one to spend much on jeans these days (hello Old Navy Rockstars!), but the splurge was worth it for these. If you are 5’8″ or taller, I would definitely recommend the tall length so they aren’t too cropped.

Are you sick of the tie front top trend yet? I know that these tops have been all over for a few months now, and I’m not embarrassed to admit that I own more than one. This is actually the only short sleeve version I have, and I think I may love it even more than the long sleeve ones! I also have a thing for pairing black and cognac together. Black is absolutely one of my favorite colors to wear, and cognac always seems to brighten it up a bit.

Happy Thursday! Why do the shortest weeks always wind up being the craziest? Maybe it’s having to play catch up, or trying to cram 5 days of work into 4. Either way, I’m so ready for the weekend! I am also really excited to share today’s post with you, since it’s been in the works for a few weeks. Back in April I had the chance to go to Nashville to meet up with a group of my favorite blogger friends. The majority of us had never met before, and I honestly wound up having one of the best weekends ever!
