Happy almost Friday friends! I can’t even believe that a week from today is Thanksgiving! Do you have any fun plans? I think we are actually going to have two Thanksgiving’s this year, one with my family and one with my in-laws. Who could pass up two Thanksgiving dinners? I’m actually more of a side dish and dessert fan than a turkey fan, but either way it should be fun!
In picking out my outfit for this week’s The Weekly Style Edit, I clearly had some festive vibes in mind. Since today is all about sweaters, I couldn’t wait to share this cute striped cozy sweater. I have been wearing it non-stop, and am pretty sure I will actually be wearing it again for Thanksgiving. Also, can we have a moment for these velvet heels? I recently placed an Old Navy order and decided to give these a try. I’M OBSESSED! I can’t wait to wear them throughout the holiday season.
Since next week is Thanksgiving, Megan and I decided to focus on gratitude instead of a specific outfit trend. We will still be having our link up, so be sure to join us today, as well as next week. If you need some more Thanksgiving outfit inspiration, check out my post from last year with a few ideas. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am headed to Mexico for the first time ever, and can’t wait to share more soon.

When it comes to self-care, I’ll be the first to admit that I could be a lot better at it. Between working multiple jobs, being a mom and a wife, and just trying to maintain my sanity (kidding, sort of), it can be challenging. Sometimes I am on the go all day long, and don’t have a chance to relax until 10pm at night. Definitely not a sustainable practice, but it’s where I am in life right now. With that in mind, it’s essential for me to come up with easy ways to incorporate self-care into my daily routine that are not particularly time consuming.

You guys know I love a good statement piece of jewelry. Whether it’s a

The pieces I am wearing above are both from Danny Hart Design. Danny is a fellow born and raised New Mexican. He worked for many years as a carpenter before transitioning into making lifestyle accessories. Every piece that he makes is completely handcrafted. One of the the coolest things about Danny is that he is basically a one man show, and creates each piece in the comfort of his own home studio.

The second artisans I was able to meet with were the lovely Kia and Sienna of

When overalls made a comeback, I wasn’t sure I could pull them off. I was worried I’d never find a pair that would be long enough, and those they would accentuate my curves in some unfortunate ways. I have

Happy Tuesday friends! Can you believe we are already almost a week into November? I am a total broken record, but where did this year go? I’m definitely not sad to see Halloween go, and am excited for the holidays, but whoa it’s almost 2019. Let that sink in for a minute. I have been having a lot of fun putting together my monthly hits and misses, and definitely plan to keep it going next year. Ready to see what products made the list for October?
First up for the hits is the

I am excited to report that October really did not have any true misses! The Captain Blankenship sea salt spray that I mentioned earlier comes in two other shades:
